Homemade Vegan Nutella
This homemade vegan spin on store-bought Nutella is just as creamy, chocolatey, and delicious!
This recipe uses cashews for a more affordable option compared to hazelnuts. If you want to use hazelnuts, go right ahead! You could also use half cashews, half hazelnuts!
Ingredients
1 cup cashews, soaked in hot water for 30 minutes ( here's my favorite brand )
¼ cup date paste (see recipe here)
1 tsp vanilla extract
¼ tsp sea salt
¼ cup cocoa powder
2-4 tbsp non-dairy milk
Instructions
1. Drain cashews and place all ingredients in a food processor or high-powered blender. Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
2. Slowly add additional non-dairy milk until desired consistency.
